La chiesa della SS.ma Annunziata iniziò ad essere edificata nel 1614 su istanza di D. Ottavio Supino, suo primo parroco, e fu benedetta da P. Ottavio Beltrano nel 1622.
Poco dopo venne eretta una costruzione più bassa, divisa in tre parti; nelle prime due vi erano: al piano terra la cappella della Confraternita di S. Giacomo, al primo piano la cappella della congrega di S. Giacomo, sul tetto erano due campane.
Nel 1700 fu edificata la cappella a destra, detta della buona morte, consacrata il giorno 8 Maggio 1710, sotto il cui pavimento ove tuttora è visibile il luogo ove venivano sepolti i defunti.
La chiesa, ha quattro altari a destra e tre a sinistra; sotto la volta a cupola c’è il quadro dell’Annunciazione, olio su tela datato sec. XVII, donato dalla famiglia D’Avalos.
Dietro all’Altare Maggiore trovasi altro olio su tela m. 2,80 x m. 2,60 opera di Giuseppe Castellano, datato 1702, denominato “Annunciazione e Santi”: da un lato San Giovanni Battista con in una mano la croce recante la frase “Ecce Agnus Dei” e dall’altro lato un agnello, San Domenico, San Filippo Neri, e San Severino; sul terzo altare a sinistra vi è un dipinto datato 1950 attribuito a Nicola Ciletti: al centro del dipinto, in una cornice dorata ovale, vi è l’immagine della Madonna di Pompei, circondata dalle raffigurazioni dei quindici Misteri del Rosario.
Di fronte, sul quarto altare a destra, vi è un altro olio su tela del sec. XVIII, raffigurante la Madonna del Suffragio. La chiesa ha anche un organo a canne.

The chapel on the right, known as the Good Death was built in 1700, consecrated on May 8, 1710, under the floor there is still the place where the deceased were placed.

The church, has four altars on the right and three on the left, under the Dome vault there is the picture of the Annunciation, oil on canvas dated sec. XVII, donated by the D’avalos family.
Behind the main altar it is found more oil on canvas m. 2.80 x M. 2.60 by Giuseppe Castellano, dated 1702, called “Annunciation and Saints”: on one side John the Baptist with in his hand the cross bearing the phrase “Ecce Agnus Dei” and in the other side a lamb, St. Dominic, St. Filippo Neri, and St. Severino.
On the third left altar there is an oil canvas, dated 1950, attributed to Nicola Ciletti: at the center of painting, in an oval golden frame, there is the image of Our Lady of Pompeii; all around fifteen little ovals depicpting the Misteries of Rosary.
Opposite, on the fourth altar on the right there is other oil on canvas of the 18th Century depicting the Madonna of Suffrage. The church has also a pipe organ.
